Midway to Miracles!

We are entering the final days of our Costco “May is for Miracles” Campaign! St. Rose and Children’s Miracle Network are so incredibly proud of our Southern Nevada Costco locations. They’re continued to work hard to raise money for our smallest patients.

This past weekend their was an initiative called “Midway to Miracles.” In this, many hospitals we asked to visit their local Costco’s with their champion child and help our stores push through these last two weeks.

In Las Vegas, we had our past champion: James Kish!! He is celebrating 10 years since he was first diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiform (GBM), which is a terribly aggressive and rapidly growing brain tumor. He underwent multiple surgeries and continued to have seizures for many years after, as a result. He recently had a surgery about a year and a half ago, and they removed another portion of his brain that the doctors felt were causing the seizures. It was a very scary surgery. He made it through and has now been seizure free ever since!

He went to visit a few of our Costco locations this past Saturday and made the BIGGEST impact! We’re so incredibly grateful for James, his family and our Costco locations for all they do!
